No. If you or someone you know is interested in enrolling in a program at WIYV, call or text our helpline and we will conduct a phone interview. Each interview is completed by a trained peer-to-peer advocate.

The peer-to-peer model creates a culture and environment of immediate support by allowing those impacted by Domestic Violence to speak to a fellow peer who has also known the impact of Domestic Violence. This model creates a bridge over the shame and stigma of Domestic Violence and encourages understanding and compassion.

No. Pets are not allowed in transitional housing at this time. WIYV does allow licensed service animals on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with an advocate for more information.
